Stanford

David Shaw did not pull any punches in his weekly teleconference with the Pac-12 or his press conference with local reporters, as he authoritatively said Stanford did not fake any injuries against Washington Saturday night after Steve Sarkisian accused the Cardinal of doing so. Shaw also called Sark’s accusations “unprofessional” and played the Tosh Lupoi card.

Washington

So…what say you, Sark? As detailed by Kevin Zimmerman in the Pac-12 coaches teleconference, Sarkisian chose not to fire back, saying “we saw what we saw. We’ll leave it at that. Two reasonable people can disagree on something and move forward.” Anybody looking forward to their 2014 meeting in Seattle with the Farm Boys?

Oregon

I fake an injury, you fake an injury; everybody fake an injury! Mark Helfrich weighed in on fake injuries Oregon offenses have faced in the past.

USC

Ed Orgeron won’t be able to start his tenure as interim HC with a fully-loaded Trojan roster due to all the injuries suffered already this year, but it might be even worse on that front because Orgeron said Marqise Lee is “very questionable” to play in Thursday night’s game against Arizona.

Arizona

Tomorrow night’s game has special meaning for Arizona’s Marquis Flowers, as the linebacker was also recruited by USC. Looking back on things, Flowers is glad he picked the Wildcats over the Trojans (going 2-1 against USC might have something to do with that too).

Washington State

With GameDay being in Seattle this weekend, the Wazzu flag will be under attack by Washington fans, as Husky fans are already planning to obscure the flag. Stay strong, Coug Nation! #wavetheflag

Utah

After a heartbreaking overtime loss to Oregon State and a 34-27 defeat to UCLA, Utah is “knocking on the door” of a signature Pac-12 win, and the Utes have another big opportunity this weekend with No. 5 Stanford coming to town.

Arizona State

With already one loss in the Pac-12 standings, Todd Graham knows that Arizona State has no margin for error. 6-3 might have won the Pac-12 South last year, but it doesn’t look like that’ll be the case in 2013.

California

Touching story from Jeff Faraudo about Cal running back Jeffrey Coprich honoring his sister’s memory with a book club. His sister was killed in a car accident in 1996 that nearly killed him as well.

Colorado

The No. 4 tackler in the nation is just a freshman? Yup; Colorado linebacker Addison Gillam has become a big hit on defense.

Oregon State

Schuh-weet! Sean Mannion and Steven Nelson were added to national awards lists -- Mannion to the Maxwell Award Watch List and Nelson to the Bednarik Watch List.

UCLA

This UCLA freshman linebacker has been an absolute stud so far this season, so it’s fair enough to say that Myles Jack is racing past the learning curve. He’s tied for second in the Pac with seven passes defended and picked off Travis Wilson to seal the deal in Salt Lake City last Thursday.
