UCLA

It was close early on, but the Bruins pulled away at the end of the first half and never looked back last night against the Card. Steve Alford can thank Tony Parker for his inspired performance that propelled UCLA to a rout of Stanford. Dude scored 22 off the bench in the 91-74 win. Here’s some video of Parker’s career night courtesy of our Nick Fasulo.

Arizona

Business as usual for the top-ranked 'Cats. Selfless play and tough defense resulted in another win for No.1 Arizona last night as it beat Colorado 69-57 in a game that wasn’t as close as the score indicates.

Arizona State

After Arizona State clawed out a 79-75 win against Utah, Jahii Carson talked about guarding Delon Wright with our Matt Muehlebach.

Utah

ANOTHER close road loss for the Runnin’ Utes, partly because Jordan came out on top of Dallin in the battle of the Bachynskis. Jordan had a double-double (11 points, 11 boards), while Dallin finished with six points and six rebounds.

Washington

It has been a little while since we’ve checked in on Gregg Bell, but why not go back to the well after Washington’s 80-76 victory over Oregon (#TheBellWell)? After the game, Bell wrote that C.J. Wilcox went duck hunting because his 23 points and late three-pointer bagged Oregon. Gotta love the nickname 3-J for C.J. (you also gotta love 23 points on 11 shots).

Oregon

I’m sure you don’t want to hear any more about that fifth loss in a row, Oregon supporter, so maybe we can cheer you up by telling you that there’s a buzz about Josh Huff after early NFL Draft workouts.

Oregon State

Winners of three of four to get to .500 in conference play, Oregon State has found success by swapping starting point guards, writes Kenny Ocker of Rush The Court. All hail freshman Hallice Cooke.

USC

Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports writes that USC is one of the schools hurt most by a rush of underclassmen declaring for the NFL Draft, along with LSU, Alabama and Notre Dame. There are 98 underclassmen in all declaring, beating the previous high by 25 (last year).

California

California Golden Blogs takes a look at the Cal women’s basketball team’s upcoming games with USC and UCLA at home, along with some talk about how foul trouble for a couple of Gottlieb’s top guns affects the team.

Colorado

Linda Lappe will hope to get a little revenge on Arizona for all of Boulder when her hoopers take on Niya Butts’ club tonight, and Colorado women’s basketball is hoping the Wildcats will be the elixir to their 1-5 start to conference play.

Washington State

Kudos to Klay Thompson for being picked to be a part of the USA Basketball national roster pool. The former Coug is one of 28 potential players for the World Cup of Basketball in Spain this summer and the 2016 Olympics. Other former Pac-12ers include James Harden, Andre Iguodala, Kevin Love and Russell Westbrook.

Stanford

Jack Blanchat of Rule of Tree gives us a few thoughts on Richard Sherman and how he continues to redefine Stanford. This is a few days old but certainly worth the read coming from a guy who covered Sherman when he was on The Farm.
