Oregon

The Oregon men won the NCAA track and field team championship last weekend, while the women finished third. That’s the recap from Taylor Dutch, who notes that there were nine NCAA individual champs from the Pac-12.

Stanford

USA plays Ghana Monday afternoon in the World Cup in Brazil, and the Stanford men’s soccer team scrimmaged the U.S. Men’s National Team to help USMNT prep the World Cup while Jürgen Klinsmann and Co. were training on The Farm.

UCLA

First there was the 46-inch vert. Now Zach LaVine throws down a behind-the-back dunk at a recent workout (looks like it’s the Nuggets from the Vine). Yeah, he’ll be fun to watch in the NBA. Additionally, Jon Solomon of CBS Sports writes up an analysis of the first week of the Ed O’Bannon-NCAA trial. Sounds like they’re in it for the long haul.

USC

USC is going to add on-field suites to the Coliseum, among other things, to enhance the game day experience for fans. The on-field suites will be ready for the 2014 season.

Arizona State

Jeff Metcalfe of the Arizona Republic tells us that Arizona State will interview Monte Lee for its baseball head coaching position. He is currently the head coach at College of Charleston, where he is 231-130 in six seasons.

Arizona

Daniel Berk of the Arizona Daily Star reports that Arizona running back Pierre Cormier is retiring from football because of a medical issue.

Washington

Former Washington kicker Travis Coons will battle for the starting kicking job with the Tennessee Titans. Here’s to wishing him luck that he’ll be Bishop Sankey’s teammate for at least another year.

California

Mitch Sherman of ESPN.com tabs Cal head coach Sonny Dykes as one of 10 coaches who “adapt and thrive” in the college football coaching world. Plenty of Pac-12 representation on this list (Arizona HC RichRod, Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost, UCLA OC Noel Mazzone and Utah cornerbacks coach Sharrieff Shah also get some love).

Colorado

Hey, did you know that Colorado club sports won five national titles in the spring? You gotta watch some ultimate frisbee. Colorado alum Beau Kittredge is considered one of the best ultimate players in the world.

Oregon State

Time to learn why Oregon State wide receiver Victor Bolden is the Beavers’ most important player according to Chantel Jennings.

Washington State

Relive Washington State’s victory over USC at the Coliseum in this link produced for us by the solid Jacob Thorpe. It wasn’t the prettiest of games offensively, but the win helped the Cougs achieve bowl eligibility.

Utah

The Utah football team had a meet-and-greet with season-ticket holders, and many of the fans have “tempered” their expectations about the upcoming season, according to Kyle Goon of the Salt Lake Tribune.

NBA

No link here, but congratulations to former Fork Jeff Ayres and former Coug Aron Baynes for winning an NBA championship Sunday night with the San Antonio Spurs.
