USC

USC is giving four-year scholarships to football and men's and women's basketball student-athletes, the school announced Monday. The policy goes into effect July 1 and affects current and future Trojans.

Arizona

The NBA draft is coming up Thursday, and former Arizona forward Aaron Gordon has learned lessons from his brother Drew’s draft night. A former Bruin and Lobo, Drew did not get drafted and has been playing overseas (he will be at NBA Summer League this July playing for the Lakers).

Washington

While we’re on the subject, did ya know that Washington’s C.J. Wilcox is preparing for the NBA draft with Don MacLean? That clip not enough for you? Check out “Pac-12 Sports Report” Monday night at 7 p.m. PT, then (#crosspromotion).

Arizona State

And another draft-ish link, because Dan Bickley has some NBA advice for Arizona State’s Jahii Carson and Jordan Bachynski. Bickley gets some words of wisdom from Jeff Ayres and Carrick Felix about their time in The Association. On another Sun Devil note, Arizona State football coach Todd Graham bought a house previously owned by Poison lead singer Bret Michaels.

Stanford

Congrats to Stanford alum Michelle Wie for winning the U.S. Women’s Open. It is the first major she has won in her career. Here’s espnW writer Mechelle Voepel’s piece on Wie winning the U.S. Women’s Open, and she believes that Wie's win "brings hope" to the LPGA tour.

Stanford

On the stand at the Ed O’Bannon-NCAA trial Friday, Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany said there would be no Rose Bowl if players get paid.

Colorado

Well done, sir: Colorado head football coach Mike MacIntyre dropped 52 pounds in six months by eating right and exercising on a regular basis.

Oregon State

Former Oregon State wide receiver Chad Johnson is playing in the CFL with the Montreal Alouettes. Ocho Cinco caught one pass for 13 yards in an exhibition game Friday.

Washington State

I missed this last week, but former Washington State head coach Ken Bone was named associate head coach at Montana. Bone had a lot of success in the Big Sky as the head honcho at Portland State. He’ll get to work under the watchful eye of former Cal assistant Travis DeCuire.

Oregon

Over the weekend, Oregon pitcher Tommy Thorpe signed with the Chicago Cubs. The Lovable Losers selected Thorpe in the eighth round (229th overall).

UCLA

The Los Angeles Times reports that UCLA linebacker Aaron Wallace has returned to the team. As Chris Foster notes, Wallace left UCLA due to an academic problem after the winter quarter. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Utah

The last couple of years have been easy sledding in the non-league slate for the Utes, but Jeff Eisenberg of Yahoo! Sports notes that Utah men’s basketball has a much tougher schedule in 2014-15, which could boost the team’s NCAA tournament chances. Wichita State, Kansas, BYU and UNLV are all on the sked, while San Diego State is a likely opponent (hasn’t been finalized yet though).

California

How about a chat with a Pac-12 men’s basketball head coach? Let’s read a USA Today Q&A with Cal basketball coach Cuonzo Martin.
