For the second time in as many weeks, Oregon quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Marcus Mariota was caught in what some might call a foretelling moment. Midway through the second quarter in Friday's Pac-12 Football Championship Game, Mariota found himself sprinting for the corner of the end zone, with only Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year Scooby Wright standing in the way.

Mariota got past his adversary for the six points, and he also got another sweet photo to add to his Heisman campaign in the process. Oregon never looked back, and the Ducks went on to beat Arizona 51-13 to claim the 2014 Pac-12 Football Championship. After the game, Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich said about his quarterback, "If this guy isn't what the Heisman Trophy is all about, then I'm in the wrong profession."

The Heisman will be presented to college football's most outstanding player on Dec. 13 in New York City, and it's fair to say Mariota is giving his competition a stiff-arm on his way there.
