Pac-12 Networks announces coverage plans surrounding CFP Championship Game

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. (Jan. 6, 2014) – The date has been set, the matchup decided and Pac-12 Networks will be on hand in Dallas to provide robust coverage surrounding this season’s college football season finale pitting No. 2 Oregon vs. No. 4 Ohio State for the inaugural College Football Playoff Championship.

Coverage of Oregon’s quest for its first National Championship begins this week with daily content across Pac-12.com and Pac-12 Networks, including:

  • New episode of Pac-12 Football Weekly debuting tonight at 7:00 p.m. PT that features Rick Neuheisel and Yogi Roth breaking down the matchup, plus Jill Savage 1-on-1 with Oregon head coach Mark Helfrich, C Hroniss Grasu and LB Tony Washington from Eugene
  • Reports from Jill Savage on the ground in Eugene Wednesday and Thursday
  • Special College Football Playoff National Championship microsite within Pac-12.com featuring coverage from Saturday’s media day in Dallas, plus additional videos and written content

Sunday at 7:00 p.m. PT, host Mike Yam, along with analysts Rick Neuheisel and Curtis Conway bring viewers Win the Day: National Championship Preview, a 60-min special offering a look at the Ducks’ road to Dallas and what it will take for Oregon to bring home its first national title in football. Additionally, Ashley Adamson will weigh in from Dallas, giving viewers an up close look at the atmosphere

On Championship Monday, Ashley Adamson, former Oregon defensive coordinator Nick Aliotti and Jill Savage are live from the field in Dallas with Mike Yam, Rick Neuheisel and Conway in San Francisco for the College Football Playoff Championship Pregame Show, Presented by GameFly beginning at 4:00 p.m. PT. The 60-minute pregame show will include a live interview with Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott, plus other notable guests on site in Dallas. Additionally, Aliotti, Neuheisel and Conway will give viewers the final word before kick on who will win and why.   

Immediately following the game, the group returns for a 90-minute College Football Playoff Championship Postgame Report, Presented by GameFly featuring highlights, live interviews from the field, postgame press conference sound and analysis of the game.

All shows and specials will air live across all seven linear networks and online at Pac-12.com and on the Pac-12 Now app.
