Fawcett was a breakout star for the Cardinal in his freshman campaign, competing primarily at the No. 1 position in duals and compiling a 14-7 dual record with a 26-12 overall record. He led No. 20 Stanford to a share of the Pac-12  title, its first since 2010, and the No. 1 seed in the Pac-12 Championships. The Cardinal also reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Goldstein was honored as an All-American in each of his four years.
