Brand marketing campaign honored as best among national networks

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 2, 2015) – Pac-12 Networks’ brand marketing campaign was a winner at the Sports Video Group/National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (SVG/NACDA) Sports Media Awards in the category of ‘Outstanding Promotion, PSA, Tease or Marketing Campaign in Atlanta on May 29.

The campaign, developed in partnership with San Francisco agency barrettSF, consisted of video, print and digital media assets appearing both on and off-channel throughout the 2014-15 collegiate season. Each element of the campaign spoke to Pac-12 Networks’ mission to provide its viewers with inside access, expert analysis and quality live game production surrounding the Pac-12 Conference’s member teams that have combined for an unprecedented 476 NCAA titles – the most of any collegiate athletic conference.

"It's incredibly exciting for our team to receive this fantastic honor from SVG and NACDA," said Lydia Murphy-Stephans, Pac-12 Networks president. "We are so proud to have developed a campaign that successfully captures the moments that make the Pac-12 the 'Conference of Champions' and showcases its rich history of producing championship-caliber student-athletes."

"The Pac-12 Network campaign was a labor of love and great collaboration,” said Jamie Barrett, barrettSF creative director. “We began with miles of footage and worked closely with the network team to whittle it down to the right couple minutes. It was a pleasure to put something out in the world for an organization we're all so passionate about."

The SVG/NACDA Sports Media Awards annually honors the best in collegiate sports video production from a variety of arenas including national, regional and digital media networks, collegiate athletic departments and students.
