Arizona

Provided Mario Hezonja is off the board, RealGM is reporting that the Detroit Pistons are targeting Stanley Johnson with the No. 8 pick. Meanwhile, Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post believes that Johnson could be a good fit for the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets have the No. 7 pick.

Utah

Chris Fedor of the Northeast Ohio Media Group believes the Cleveland Cavaliers should target Delon Wright with the No. 24 pick. Fedor also mentions Rondae Hollis-Jefferson as an option at 24 for the Cavs.

Stanford

CBS Sports’ Zach Harper writes that Stanford basketball alum Anthony Brown is an NBA Draft sleeper, noting that his length (take note, Jay Bilas) and dead-eye shooting can make him a serious asset in the Association. Joseph Young also gets some love from Harper here.

Oregon

Speaking of which, most NBA draft projections have Joseph Young going in the second round. NBA.com has him going 54th overall to the Jazz and Draftexpress.com has him going 49th to the Wiz, but ESPN has him going late in the first round to the Lake Show (27th overall).

Washington

UW Dawg Pound looks at Robert Upshaw’s NBA draft prospects. Such a talented big man.

UCLA

California

With the spring signing period in the books, Cal basketball has the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation. Well done, Cuonzo.

Oregon State

Former Utah State quarterback Darell Garretson officially joined the Oregon State football team Monday, Gina Mizell reports. He can’t play in 2015 but figures to be in the mix for the 2016 starting gig.

Washington State

CougCenter’s Brian Floyd writes that Elson S. Floyd leaves a lasting legacy at Washington State. Really good piece here on the late president of the university.

Colorado

Brian Howell informs us that Julian Assibey has been promoted to an assistant coach for Colorado women’s basketball. Assibey was the Buffs’ video coordinator last season.

Arizona State

Chantel Jennings goes into some detail about Arizona State’s 330-acre “district” that will feature apartments, restaurants and office space, not to mention some shopping spots.

USC

USC football coach Steve Sarkisian says he won’t coach at satellite camps.
