Arizona

Seven Pac-12 players were selected in the 2015 NBA Draft, and that’s the Kevin Zimmerman recap for your favorite website (well done, Kev). Yeah, it was cool that Stanley Johnson went eighth to Detroit, but how about Rondae Hollis-Jefferson’s pants though?! If only the 23rd overall pick stayed with Portland (he was later traded to Brooklyn), those red and black checkered pants woulda really fit in.

Utah

Check out Delon Wright’s reaction when Toronto selected him 20th overall. Pretty sure this is the first time the roundup has ever linked to TMZ.

UCLA

Many people think the Golden State Warriors got a steal in Kevon Looney with the 30th pick, as he was thought to go much earlier in the draft. Tim Kawakami of the Bay Area News Group writes that the Warriors didn’t show panic by picking Looney. Also, props to Norman Powell for going 46th to Milwaukee (and getting later traded to Toronto).

Stanford

Repping the Purple and Gold since he was a youngster, Anthony Brown will get to play for his favorite team with the Lakers drafting him 34th overall, writes The Orange County Register’s Janis Carr.

Oregon

Here’s what the Indy Star had to say about the Indiana Pacers taking Joseph Young with the 43rd pick.

Washington

Despite not getting drafted, Robert Upshaw will play for the Lakers’ Summer League team, reports Shams Charania of RealGM (great website, by the way).

Colorado

Colorado basketball’s Xavier Johnson underwent surgery to repair his torn Achilles tendon, the Associated Press reports. Suffering the injury earlier in the month, Johnson has no timetable for his return.

Oregon State

Schweet – Oregon State and Oklahoma State have scheduled a home-and-home series for 2019 (Corvallis) and 2020 (Stillwater). Now we will finally find out which is the superior black and orange OSU school.

USC

USC ranks 11th on NFL.com’s list of the 15 best college football game-day atmospheres compiled by Mike Huguenin.

Arizona State

Jeff Metcalfe reports that Arizona State women’s basketball will host Florida State, a Sweet 16 rematch (the ‘Noles edged the Devils 66-65 to advance to the Elite Eight). The Sun Devils will also host Kentucky and play South Carolina in Hawaii. The full non-con sked hasn’t been announced just yet.

California

Cal announced its 2015 men’s water polo schedule Thursday. The Golden Bears will play thrice on the Pac-12 Networks in the fall.

Washington State

Washington State AD Bill Moos shares his memories of Elson S. Floyd in his latest podcast recorded Wednesday morning.
