Colorado football broadcaster Larry Zimmer will retire after the 2015 season, CU SID extraordinaire David Plati informs. This will be Zimmer’s 42nd season on the call in some form (play-by-play or color) for the Buffs and 50th overall calling football games. Plati does a great job of putting into perspective how long Zimmer has been doing his thing.

UCLA

The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office has decided not to file felony charges against Diddy for an altercation he got into with a UCLA football staff member.

Washington

Washington men’s crew started competition at the Henley Royal Regatta with a W over Collingwood College Thursday. The regatta takes place on the River Thames in England.

Former Cal basketball player David Kravish will play on the Golden State Warriors’ Summer League team in Las Vegas, it was announced Thursday. Kravish holds the Cal school career record for blocks and will team up in Sin City with a couple of guys he used to try to deny – Stanford’s Chasson Randle and Stefan Nastic.

Staying on the Summer League tip, Connor Letourneau notes that Jared Cunningham will play for the Utah Jazz and Eric Moreland will play for the Sacramento Kings in July.
