Colorado football broadcaster Larry Zimmer will retire after the 2015 season, CU SID extraordinaire David Plati informs. This will be Zimmer’s 42^nd season on the call in some form (play-by-play or color) for the Buffs and 50^th overall calling football games. Plati does a great job of putting into perspective how long Zimmer has been doing his thing.
