Sweetness – USC blind long snapper Jake Olson took his first live-drill rep at practice Wednesday. As Lindsey Thiry reports, the snap was perfect.

Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams said his finger his fine but his status for the Utah game is still undetermined, writes Tyson Alger of The Oregonian. Utah has been equally tight-lipped about its QB situation this week as well.

Jeff Faraudo reminds us that Shaq Thompson’s 100-yard fumble return for a touchdown on a strip of Jared Goff trying to stretch the ball across the goal line changed Cal’s 2014 season for the worse. The Golden Bears were 4-1 heading into the game and looked like they were going to take a 7-0 lead on the Dawgs, but U-Dub instead went up 7-0 and won 31-7, sending Cal into a tailspin that left it one win shy of a bowl game.

Hey Husky basketball fans, remember Scott Suggs? Upside and Motor’s Chris Reichert sure does, and he caught up with Suggs, who is returning to the D-League for a final shot at the NBA. Suggs averaged double figures in France last year after lighting it up with the Erie BayHawks in the D-League the year before.
