USC

Sweetness – USC blind long snapper Jake Olson took his first live-drill rep at practice Wednesday. As Lindsey Thiry reports, the snap was perfect.

Arizona

Zack Rosenblatt of the Arizona Daily Star comprises an oral history of the 2011 UCLA-Arizona football game that featured an interim head coach in his first game, a streaker and a royal rumble all before halftime. The Wildcats blasted away the Bruins 48-12. And how about this, another great video from the Arizona digital department, creating a movie trailer for the upcoming Arizona-UCLA game entitled “Avengers – Arizona Football Men of Mayhem.”

Utah

With Utah-Oregon going down this weekend, current Detroit Lions wide receiver and former Ute Kaelin Clay has grown as a result of the touchdown-turned-fumble against the Ducks last year, one of the craziest plays of 2014 that really cemented #Pac12AfterDark. Clay recently signed on with the Lions’ practice squad.

UCLA

Gabriel Baumgartner of Sports Illustrated thinks that, coupled with Eddie Vanderdoes being out of the year, Myles Jack’s season-ending injury is the most impactful of the 2015 college football season so far. Also, FOX Sports thinks that UCLA has the second-best uniforms in all of college football in its top 25 slideshow (where’s Oregon tho?).

Arizona State

Uncle Ted pontificates on Mike Bercovici and Arizona State having a chance to do more damage to USC after beating the Trojans on a Jael Mary last year. Also, Sarah Kezele breaks down the ASU-USC game with Doug Haller and Lindsey Thiry, beat writers for The Arizona Republic and Los Angeles Times, respectively.

Oregon

Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams said his finger his fine but his status for the Utah game is still undetermined, writes Tyson Alger of The Oregonian. Utah has been equally tight-lipped about its QB situation this week as well.

California

Jeff Faraudo reminds us that Shaq Thompson’s 100-yard fumble return for a touchdown on a strip of Jared Goff trying to stretch the ball across the goal line changed Cal’s 2014 season for the worse. The Golden Bears were 4-1 heading into the game and looked like they were going to take a 7-0 lead on the Dawgs, but U-Dub instead went up 7-0 and won 31-7, sending Cal into a tailspin that left it one win shy of a bowl game.

Oregon State

Let’s read Oregon State defensive end Lavonte Barnett’s latest diary entry, brought to you by Sean Meagher of The Oregonian. He discusses the win over San Jose State and getting ready for Stanford.

Washington State

Former Washington State quarterback Connor Halliday is featured in “The Agent,” a documentary-reality show that follows agents and how they do their job. The show runs on the Esquire Network.

Colorado

Brian Howell features Colorado cornerback Kenneth Crawley, who has bounced back from a rough showing against Hawai’i with two standout performances against UMass and Colorado State.

Stanford

David Lombardi writes that after pulling off another win as a huge underdog, Stanford football is looking for consistency. The Cardinal will not be underdogs Friday at Oregon State.

Pac-12

Brian Hamilton of Sports Illustrated wonders if the Pac-12 is too competitive and if it will keep itself out of the playoff race as a result.

Washington

Hey Husky basketball fans, remember Scott Suggs? Upside and Motor’s Chris Reichert sure does, and he caught up with Suggs, who is returning to the D-League for a final shot at the NBA. Suggs averaged double figures in France last year after lighting it up with the Erie BayHawks in the D-League the year before.
