USC

Travis Haney of ESPN wonders if USC should make Clay Helton the Trojans’ full-time head coach. USC is 4-1 since the move to interim head man.

Arizona State

Ugh – Arizona State safety Jordan Simone is out for the year with a right knee injury. He was the national leader in tackles per game (7.8 solos per entering Saturday's game) and got hurt in the win over Washington.

California

Cal AD Mike Williams said he wants to keep Sonny Dykes in Berkeley (Bonagura link). There has been speculation that Dykes would leave for a head coaching gig in the state of Texas if one were to open.

Oregon

Check out the highlights of Oregon’s 74-67 win over Baylor Monday night in a battle of ranked teams. Chris Boucher was a beast, and Dwayne Benjamin made some nice plays as well.

Utah

The Utes got some revenge on San Diego State Monday night after an early-season loss in San Diego last year to the Aztecs, and Kurt Kragthorpe writes that the Utes stepped up in big moments to defeat San Diego State 81-76.

Arizona

HEY OH… Arizona basketball coach Sean Miller seemingly took a shot at UCLA’s low attendance at Sunday night’s game against Cal Poly, saying “I know there’s a lot of traffic. But you wonder if the season ticket was not printed the right way.” Meanwhile, the Wildcats had more than 14,000 in attendance for their beatdown of Bradley.

UCLA

Kyle Bonagura notes that UCLA feels at home on the road as it gets ready for a huge game in Salt Lake City against the Utes. The Bruins have been significantly better away from the Rose Bowl than they are playing there the past two seasons.

Colorado

With Sefo Liufau out with a hurt foot, Colorado will play to Cade Aspay’s strengths, notes Brian Howell. It will be the redshirt freshman’s first career start.

Stanford

Jon Wilner tells us what’s at stake for Cal and Stanford in the Big Game on Saturday night. The Cardinal will clinch the Pac-12 North with a win.

Oregon State

With Seth Collins ruled out due to injury, Oregon State head coach Gary Andersen is hopeful quarterback Nick Mitchell can play against Washington on Saturday. A late hit knocked Mitchell out against Cal last weekend.

Washington State

Washington State receivers were students of Mike Leach’s Air Raid offense while he was at Texas Tech, writes Chantel Jennings. Gabe Marks would always play as the Red Raiders whenever he turned on his NCAA Football '08 video game.

Washington

Jack Follman of UW Dawg Pound looks back at Washington’s loss to Arizona State.
