400 Medley Relay
• Stanford captured its second American record at the Pac-12 Championships, this time achieving the feat in the 400 medley relay. The Cardinal quartet of Ally Howe, Sarah Haase, Janet Hu and Lia Neal stopped the clock in 3:26.25 and took the Conference crown in the process. Stanford broke its own American record, as the Cardinal set the previous record at NCAA Championships last year in a time of 3:26.41.

• Rounding out the podium placing was CALIFORNIA’s squad in 3:30.17 for second place, and USC in third place in 3:31.02.

400 Individual Medley
• The Cardinal’s Ella Eastin captured the league title in the 400IM  in 3:59.30 for her second title of the Championships. This was the freshman’s first performance under four minutes in her career and was the first swimmer to go under the mark this season to date.

• CALIFORNIA’s duo of Kelly Naze and Celina Li took second and third in 4:06.56 and 4:08.36, respectively.

• ARIZONA STATE’s Marlies Ross set a new school record in the event in 4:09.23.

• UTAH had its first individual swimmer in an A final this week with Jordan Anderson. Anderson tallied 23 points for the Utes with a time of 4:13.85.
 

100 Butterfly
• Farida Osman of California grabbed a third Championship title of the week, winning the 100 butterfly in a time of 50.53. She now has three Championship meet records including the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle relay.

• USC’s Kendyl Stewart took second in the fly, hitting the touchpad in 51.17, while Osman’s teammate Noemie Thomas took third in 51.40.

200 Freestyle
• STANFORD’s junior Lia Neal decisively took the 200 freestyle in 1:42.50 for Stanford’s second win of the night. Trojan Kirsten Vose was the next swimmer to stop the clock, doing so in 1:44.19. California senior Elizabeth Pelton rounded out the top-three in a time of 1:44.59.

100 Breaststroke
• For the third individual title of the night for the Cardinal, Stanford senior Sarah Haase grabbed the event win in a time of 58.02. USC’s Riley Scott finished in second place with a time of 59.31 and Emma Schoettmer of ARIZONA collected 27 points for the Wildcats in 1:00.32.

100 Backstroke
Sophomore Cardinal Ally Howe collected the fourth individual title for Stanford, taking the 100 backstroke in a time of 50.71. CALIFORNIA went 2-3 with Rachel Bootsma finishing in second, while Amy Bilquist took third in 50.81. Bilquist set a Championship meet record in the morning’s preliminary round with her time of 50.51.
