Chantel Jennings gives us the details on Oregon wide receiver Devon Allen sitting out spring football to train for the 2016 Olympics in the 110-meter hurdles. He holds the fastest time among any American so far in 2016 in the event, clocking in at 13.40 seconds.

Washington State

Props to Washington State pitcher/first baseman John Olerud for being named Pac-12 Player of the Century, officially announced Monday night on Sports Report. Check this out – he went 15-0 on the bump and hit 23 home runs in 1988.

Washington men’s basketball has promoted Raphael Chillious to associate head coach, the school announced Monday. He is considered one of the best recruiters on the West Coast.

USC is in the lead after the first day of the Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships in Pleasanton, California, holding a four-stroke lead over UCLA.

CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish has Cal forward Jaylen Brown going fourth overall in his NBA Mock Draft. He also has Jakob Poeltl going 10th, Ivan Rabb going 13th and Marquese Chriss going 19th.

Oregon State baseball defeated Oregon 11-10 in a wild one Monday night, with the Beavers blowing an 8-0 lead but preserving the win with some clutch two-out hitting in the ninth inning (Andrew Nemec, The Oregonian/OregonLive).
