Pac-12 Networks announces season four of 'The Drive'

PAC-12 NETWORKS ANNOUNCES SEASON FOUR OF “THE DRIVE” PRESENTED BY TIRE PROS 
Show will feature all 12 Pac-12 teams this season

 

SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Networks’ acclaimed docu-series “The Drive: Pac-12 Football” presented by Tire Pros will take its inside access and in-depth coverage to all 12 Pac-12 campuses this the season, it was announced today.

Starting Friday, Sep. 16, The Drive: Pac-12 Football will go behind the scenes to give viewers an all-access look at all 12 of the conference’s storied football programs, from the locker rooms to the practice fields. The documentary-style program will guide viewers to each campus, spotlighting the dedication required to compete at the highest level on the gridiron, as well as the compelling student-athletes, coaches, and stories of the 2016 season.

Each episode will debut on Friday nights throughout the season following Pac-12 Sports Report exclusively on Pac-12 Network. Encore airings of each episode will then occur on Pac-12 Network on Saturday mornings at 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. PT and on Sunday evenings throughout the football season. Additionally, encore airings will be scheduled across the appropriate Pac-12 regional networks. Full episodes will be published to The Drive’s Pac-12.com show page each Monday for authenticated viewers. 

Pac-12 Networks’ Senior Coordinating Producer Michael Tolajian will again lead the production team that features Pac-12 Networks analyst Yogi Roth.

With more than 25 years of production experience, Tolajian joined Pac-12 Networks in April 2013. He previously spent 13 years at the helm of his own production company, BonaFide Films, where he served a variety of roles on productions for ESPN ‘30 for 30,’ HBO, FOX, TNT, NBA, MLB, NHL and Showtime. Tolajian earned two Emmys as a producer on projects for NBA Entertainment/Turner and HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel.

“We are excited about the fourth season of The Drive,” said Tolajian. “This year, we will be showcasing more of the behind-the-scenes aspects of what our student-athletes and coaches truly experience at the major college football level, which is something we know Pac-12 fans will enjoy and appreciate. We have a great team working on the show and look forward to providing our viewers with the next edition of our signature series.”

In addition to his role as an analyst with Pac-12 Networks and previous stint as an assistant football coach at USC, Roth holds several production credits on projects for NFL Films and ESPN. He also co-authored the book Win Forever alongside current Seattle Seahawks head coach and former USC head coach Pete Carroll, which ranked as high as No. 7 on The New York Times bestsellers’ list. His latest independent film project Life in a Walk earned ‘Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking’ honors at the Newport Beach Film Festival.
