Oregon

Devon Allen is turning pro in track, forgoing his collegiate eligibility in football and track, he announced Wednesday (The Oregonian/OregonLive on the link). He’ll begin focusing on a career in hurdling.

Washington State

Washington State defensive tackle Robert Barber is able to return to the team as a result of a court order, according to Kyle Bonagura of ESPN and other media reports. The suspension was due to his involvement in a fight at an off-campus party over the summer.

Oregon State

Oregon State has shown its support for Seth Collins, who was hospitalized Sunday for an illness (Gina Mizell has more). Sounds like they’ll have a nice little tribute or moment at the beginning of the Arizona game for the sick receiver.

California

Have yourself a game, Charlie Moore. The youngin’ scored a Cal freshman single-game-record 38 points to lead Cal men’s basketball to a 75-65 win over UC Irvine in overtime (Pac-12 Networks recap).

Utah

Kyle Goon digs into the state audit of the Utah athletic department. Nothing major here, just some “tidying up” to do, to borrow a Gooner phrase in the lead.

Colorado

You wouldn’t have thought it at the beginning of the season, but the Colorado-Washington State game is going to be a big one, and here’s the Associated Press writeup of the matchup.

Stanford

Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey was named a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award, an award McCaffrey won in 2015.

Washington

Percy Allen lets us know that Natalie Romeo will be inserted into the starting lineup for Washington women’s basketball Thursday night against Missouri. Romeo will take over the spot in the lineup left behind by Kelli Kingma, who broke her hand in Monday’s win over Colorado State.

UCLA

No. 9 UCLA women’s volleyball swept Oregon State on #SpikeNight Wednesday night, taking down the Beavs 25-22, 25-14, 25-16 to take a momentary half-game lead over Washington for first place in the Pac-12.

USC

Kyle Bonagura discusses how Clay Helton’s tenure as USC head coach is coming “full circle” against UCLA this weekend. After defeating the Bruins in 2015, then-interim head man Helton was named full-time head coach.

Arizona

Michael Lev is of the opinion that the Arizona defense will benefit from the experience it has given to its youth this season. There have been plenty of bumps in the road this year, but guys got a ton of game experience.

Arizona State

Doug Haller gives us an Arizona State practice report from Wednesday.
