Washington hoopers Chantel Osahor and Kelsey Plum were named to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Midseason Watch List (best player in women’s college basketball), it was announced Tuesday. Osahor leads the nation in rebounding, while Plum leads the nation in scoring.

Arizona

The folks at the Arizona Daily Star tell us that former Arizona athletic department officials Cedric Dempsey and Kathleen “Rocky” LaRose will help Arizona pick its new athletic director. Greg Byrne is leaving Arizona Feb. 1 to start his role as the AD at Alabama.

UCLA

Oregon State

Uh-oh – Oregon State football assistant coaches T.J. Woods and Chad Kauha’aha’a were stuck in an elevator during a recruiting trip, Andrew Nemec of The Oregonian/OregonLive informs. They’re out of the elevator now, fortunately.
