Oregon

Oregon men’s basketball is up to No. 6 in the latest AP Top 25 poll (Molly Blue, The Oregonian/OregonLive). The 24-4 Ducks swept the Mountain schools at home last weekend to wrap up its second perfect season at Matthew Knight Arena.

USC

Quoted in a Sun-Sentinel article, former USC quarterback Mitch Mustain said Lane Kiffin was “disinterested” in being the head coach of the Trojans, while noting that Kiffin enjoyed the play-calling aspect of the gig (linked here by CBS Sports).

Arizona

Arizona’s Lauri Markkanen was named Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 22.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in two wins over the Washington schools.

Colorado

At 16-12 and needing to win the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament to get into the Big Dance, Tad Boyle says Colorado isn’t considering its postseason future yet, according to Pat Rooney.

Oregon State

Props to Oregon State men’s basketball for notching its first Pac-12 win of the season and avoiding its 2008 fate, and Danny Moran has the recap of the Beavers’ comeback victory over Utah Sunday night in Corvallis. Stephen Thompson Jr. led the way with 31 points.

Stanford

Arizona State
