Each Pac-12 program will be featured at least 15 times: Arizona (20), Oregon State (19), Utah (19), Stanford (18), Washington (18), Arizona State (17), Cal (17), USC (17), UCLA (16), Oregon (15) and Washington State (15). Of the 102 total games, 21 will be traditional rivalry games including Arizona vs. Arizona State, Cal vs. Stanford, Oregon vs. Oregon State, UCLA vs. USC and Washington vs. Washington State.
Four Pac-12 baseball teams earned berths to the 2016 NCAA Baseball Championship. Utah won the Pac-12 Championship for the first time in program history while Arizona, Arizona State and Washington all earned at-large selections. The Arizona Wildcats earned a spot in the College World Series final, their first since they won the title in 2012. Under first-year head coach Jay Johnson, the Wildcats took their College World Series journey all the way to Game 3.
Every Pac-12 school had at least one student-athlete drafted in the 2016 MLB Draft: USC (12), Arizona (7), California (7), UCLA (6), Arizona State (5), Oregon (5), Oregon State (5), Stanford (4), Washington (3), Washington State (3) and Utah (1). ASU leads all NCAA schools with 414 total MLB draft picks, and at least one Sun Devil has been drafted every year since the draft’s inception in 1965.
