THIS WEEK: Maegan Manasse, California
• The senior posted a pair of upsets to lead the No. 9 Golden Bears past Washington, 7-0, on April 14 and then won in singles and doubles again one day later in the Bears' 7-0 victory over Washington State in Berkeley.
• Ranked 65th in singles, Manasse beat the 35th-ranked Stacey Fung, 6-1, 6-3, at court-one singles to clinch the victory over the Huskies.
• Earlier, the 51st-ranked Manasse and Maya Jansen upset the 35th-ranked Nour Abbes and Miki Kobayashi, 6-1, at court-one doubles.
• Against the Cougars, Manasse and Jansen blanked Aneta Miksovska and Victoria Matejevic, 6-0, in doubles, before Manasse knocked off Barbora Michalkova, 6-2, 6-1, in singles.
