Pac-12 Softball Players of the Week for April 18

Player of the Week: Alysha Everett, Oregon State
• 3 GP, 3 R, 1 HR, 7 RBI, .625 AVG
• Totaled seven RBIs over the series against No. 8/9 UCLA including four-RBIs in the run-rule victory in game one of the series.
• The run-rule win was the first for Oregon State against UCLA and the first against a top-10 Conference opponent.
• Everett has hit 19 RBIs in the last eight games, including setting single-game highs.

Pitcher of the Week: Taran Alvelo, Washington
• 3 GP, 19.0 IP, 2-1 record, 1.84 ERA, 22K
• Started all three games at in the Huskies’ 2-1 series win over Oregon.
• Pitched two complete games, including a complete nine-inning 5-3 win for the Huskies and handed Oregon its first two home losses of the season.
• Tossed Thursday's complete game, allowing only four hits and two runs in the 4-2 victory.
• Allowed only twelve hits in all three games on the weekend.

Freshman of the Week: Kelly Martinez, Utah
• 3 GP, 1 R, 4 H, 2 RBI, .500 AVG
• Against the team with second-best ERA in the nation, she batted .500 (OBP of .556) with a double and two runs batted in in the Utes’ 2-1 series win over Arizona.
• Her lone run of the weekend was the walk-off game-winner vs. the No. 1 ranked Wildcats.
• She also threw out another base runner giving her 10 for the season
