TUCSON, Ariz. – Washington State women's golf sits in 11th place after the second round of play at the Pac-12 Championships, Tuesday, at the Sewailo Golf Club.
WSU improved by two strokes from the first round after shooting 26-over on the day, bringing its two-round score to 630 (+54). Sixth-ranked UCLA continues to lead the tournament after shooting 3-under par in the second round, and is the only team under-par through two rounds (-1, 575). No. 26 Colorado is in second place with a score of 582 (+6), while third-ranked Stanford rounds out the top-three (+18, 594). No. 14 Arizona (+22, 598) and No. 1 Arizona State (+23, 599) are in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Moving eight spots up the leaderboard is junior Alivia Brown, who is tied for 26th after the second round. Brown improved her first-round score by four strokes and carded three birdies on the day to bring her two-round total to 154 (+10).
Freshman Marie Lund-Hansen and senior Cherokee Kim are both tied for 33rd place with a score of 156 (+12) through two rounds. Kim had the best round of the day for the Cougars, shooting 2-over par and improving by eight strokes from the first round.
Junior Bree Wanderscheid is tied for 52nd (+22, 156), while sophomore Madison Odiorne sits in 54th place (+25, 169) after the second round.
