Cal women’s basketball coach Lindsay Gottlieb gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday. Congrats to Gottlieb and her fiancé Patrick Martin! The boy’s name is Jordan Peter.

Former Washington men's basketball star and NBA coach George Irvine died of cancer at the age of 69, reports Adam Jude of the Seattle Times. He was a head coach for the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons and was a two-time all-Pac-8 selection at U-Dub.
