Arizona State

Arizona State women’s golf edged Stanford 3-2 to advance to the NCAA finals, where they will meet…

USC

…Northwestern, as the Wildcats defeated USC 3-2. The Trojans held leads in four of the five matches before Northwestern’s comeback.

Stanford

Stanford women’s tennis lost in the NCAA finals to Florida 4-1 Tuesday night in Athens, coming up one win short of repeating. Hats off to Taylor Davidson for the fight she put up the last couple of days.

California

Now we’re on to the NCAA individual tennis tournaments, and Cal women’s tennis has three competitors in the field – Karla Popovic, Maegan Manasse and Maya Jansen.

UCLA

Big news for Steve Alford and Co. – Thomas Welsh and Aaron Holiday are returning to UCLA men’s basketball after putting their names into the NBA Draft hat for a bit (Ben Bolch, Los Angeles Times).

Oregon

Tyson Alger tells us that Kavell Bigby-Williams is still with Oregon men’s basketball for the time being a month after he was granted his release to transfer. He has reportedly visited San Diego State and Wichita State.

Colorado

Must read of the day – Neill Woelk of CUBuffs.com writes this feature story on Chancellor Lee Adams, the son of former Colorado wide receiver Rae Carruth and how Buffs4Life donated $150,000 to help build a home suitable for him. Carruth was convicted on conspiracy to commit murder charges in a plot that killed Adams’ mother while she was pregnant with Lee. Now 18, Lee suffers from cerebral palsy and brain damage as a result of the shooting but is surviving and living a happy life.

Arizona

Arizona softball and Katiyana Mauga fans might want to take some time to read this feature on former Oklahoma softball player Lauren Chamberlain, who holds the NCAA career home run record that Mauga is seriously threatening. Props to Andrew Linnehan of espnW for the story.

Oregon State

Michael J. Wilson of Pacific Takes spends some time giving props to Oregon State baseball for what it has accomplished in 2017. Comes with a shout out to Pac-12 Networks as well, so that never hurts.

Utah

Kyle Goon writes that Utah men’s basketball forward David Collette hopes that the feedback he got from the NBA while testing the draft waters will help him for his senior season.

Washington State

Former Stanford basketball player Anthony Goods has started a podcast called the Eurostep Podcast, and in his latest episode, he sits down with former Cougar Kyle Weaver. Give it a listen as the two talk about Weaver’s experience at Wazzu, in the NBA, D-League and overseas. Great stuff here.

Washington

Here’s a GoHuskies.com feature on the Meggs family. Baseball coach Lindsay Meggs and son and senior centerfielder Jack are gearing up to play their final three games together.
