Roundup: RB J.J. Taylor is Arizona's most valuable player for 2017

Michael Lev believes that running back J.J. Taylor is the most valuable player for Arizona in 2017. Taylor broke his ankle against Washington in the fourth game of the season but was on track to having a breakout 2016.

Brian Howell reports that Colorado linebacker N.J. Falo has been dismissed from the team for a violation of team rules.

Former Stanford basketball player Anthony Brown agreed to a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reported (CBS Sports on the link). Under a two-way contract, Brown can spend up to 45 days on the Timberwolves’ roster while spending the rest of the time in the G League with their affiliate in Des Moines, Iowa (the Iowa Wolves, the artists formerly known as the Iowa Energy).

Andrew Greif reports that former Oregon receiver Darren Carrington has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor DUII charge. The dismissed Duck is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 8.

Washington football announced its 2017 fall camp practice schedule (The News Tribune). Camp officially begins July 31 at 4:45 p.m.
