Oregon State

The solar eclipse started to make its way across the United States in Oregon Monday morning, so Corvallis was a pretty good spot to view it. Take a look at this solar eclipse time lapse from Reser Stadium.

Washington

And here’s a piece from Todd Milles of The News Tribune about Washington football players learning about and viewing the solar eclipse.

Colorado

Colorado cornerback Anthony Julmisse was arrested over the weekend and now faces robbery charges. Julmisse was already serving a suspension for a domestic violence incident in July, and will continue to be indefinitely suspended, a CU spokesperson said.

Utah

Kurt Kragthorpe of The Salt Lake Tribune is of the opinion that offensive coordinator Troy Taylor has a lot to do with Tyler Huntley being named Utah’s starting quarterback. Troy Williams was the returning starter and a team captain, so this move came as a surprise to many.

USC

Here’s some locker-room material for Clay Helton’s bunch – Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports believes that USC is overrated. The Trojans are ranked fourth in the AP preseason top 25.

Arizona

Arizona women’s soccer blanked Beijing Normal 7-0 on Pac-12 Networks Monday night, and here’s the recap to prove it (Pac-12.com). Dana Dalton had a hat trick to pave the way for the ‘Cats.

Washington State

Theo Lawson of The Spokesman-Review tells us the five players who made the biggest impact during Washington State fall camp – RB James Williams, NT Daniel Ekuale, receiver Isaiah Johnson-Mack, LB Isaac Dotson and PK Erik Powell.

UCLA

Now that the Bruins have transitioned to game prep mode for the 2017 opener against Texas A&M, here are five things we learned from UCLA football training camp, courtesy of Thuc Nhi Nguyen of the Los Angeles Daily News.

Stanford

Here’s another one from Kurt Kragthorpe, as he writes that Stanford tight end Dalton Schultz is in line for a “breakout year.” At least that’s the term that David Shaw used to discuss Schultz, a Bingham High School grad from South Jordan, Utah (hence why there's a piece about him in The Salt Lake Tribune).

California

Here’s a feature from Rusty Simmons on Cal running back Vic Enwere, who is on the mend after missing the final six games of 2016 with a broken foot. Dude was pretty productive before the injury.
