Washington

How about this for a megadeal? Former Washington men’s basketball and Boston Celtics star Isaiah Thomas was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and a first-round pick in 2018 for Kyrie Irving. I’ve seen some people say this move makes Boston better; I say Cleveland made out like bandits.

UCLA

More Pac-12/B1G scheduling news -- UCLA football announced a home-and-home series with Wisconsin for 2029 (Rose Bowl) and 2030 (Camp Randall). The teams haven’t played each other since 1982 (UCLA won 51-26).

Stanford

Former Stanford star Tabitha Yim has been named the new women's gymnastics head coach on The Farm. Yim, who was an assistant coach at Stanford, has spent the last two seasons as the head coach at Arizona.

USC

Former USC quarterback Max Browne has been named the starting QB at Pitt (CBS Sports). Browne was the No. 1 QB for the Trojans at the start of the 2016 campaign before getting benched in favor of Sam Darnold.

Oregon

Oregon baseball coach George Horton received a contract extension through June 2020 (The Oregonian/OregonLive). Horton is 320-220-1 in nine years at the helm, leading the Ducks to the postseason five times.

California

Cal women’s soccer striker Abi Kim was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. Kim scored three goals last weekend and set up the game-winning PK against Santa Clara.

Colorado

According to an affidavit released Tuesday, Colorado cornerback Anthony Julmisse was arrested Saturday after witnesses say he rear-ended a car and stole the other driver’s cell phone when that driver took pictures of the crash. Julmisse is already serving an indefinite suspension for a prior incident in July.

Utah

Christopher Kamrani of The Salt Lake Tribune writes that Utah quarterback Troy Williams faces another test now that he has lost out on the starting QB job to Tyler Huntley. He has faced plenty of obstacles during his collegiate career.

Oregon State

Here are your game-by-game predictions for the 2017 Oregon State football season, courtesy of Gina Mizell, who is picking the Beavs to go 6-6 this year (pretty much what I would say as well).

Washington State

From the end of last week, here’s a “Washington State-flavored Q&A” with Pac-12 Networks analysts courtesy of The Spokesman Review.

Arizona

Kevin Skiver of CBS Sports dedicates this article to discussing Rob Gronkowski’s new attitude heading into the 2017 season – a more positive outlook on the preseason and a different diet, mirroring the one adhered to by Tom Brady (no coffee and alcohol).

Arizona State

Arizona State football is beginning game prep for its season opener against New Mexico State, writes Craig Morgan of ArizonaSports.com.
