Arizona

Arizona men’s basketball assistant coach Emanuel "Book" Richardson is one of four college basketball coaches who have been arrested on federal fraud and corruption charges as part of an FBI investigation into how money is steering top high-school prospects to certain schools and brands once they turn pro (CBS Sports). USC assistant Tony Bland has also been charged.

USC

Meanwhile, here’s USC AD Lynn Swann’s statement on USC men’s basketball assistant Tony Bland following his arrest. Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott also released a statement, emphasizing that the conference and the involved universities are taking "this matter very seriously."

Washington

Washington coach Chris Petersen announced Monday that Washington wide receiver Chico McClatcher is out for the year with a broken ankle he suffered in the Dawgs’ 37-10 win at Colorado on Saturday. Petersen expects McClatcher to qualify for a medical redshirt since it happened in the fourth game of the season.

Arizona State

Marie Tillman, widow of former Sun Devil, NFL player and Army Ranger Pat Tillman, said that her husband’s service “should never be politicized in a way that divides us” in a statement to CNN Monday (USA TODAY). She released the statement after President Donald Trump retweeted a tweet that referenced Pat Tillman and used the hashtag #StandForOurAnthem.

Stanford

Stanford running back Bryce Love is sixth in the USA TODAY Network Heisman Trophy survey, while USC quarterback Sam Darnold is tied for fourth and Washington QB Jake Browning is tied for seventh (Penn State RB Saquon Barkley leads the way).

California

Cal’s Paul Salcedo-Borrego was named Pac-12 Men’s Soccer Player of the Week after netting a hat trick in Cal’s 3-2 win over Santa Clara.

Utah

The Associated Press has this story on Utah quarterback Troy Williams staying ready despite being slotted No. 2 on the depth chart. His readiness helped the Utes pull out a 30-24 win at Arizona Friday night after starting QB Tyler Huntley left the game in the second quarter with an injury.

Oregon State

At his Monday press conference, Oregon State football coach Gary Andersen said he wants his team to have more fun (The Oregonian/OregonLive). There hasn’t been a whole lot of fun on the field for the 1-3 Beavs thus far.

UCLA

UCLA isn’t playing the blame game following the loss to Stanford, writes Thuc Nhi Nguyen. A lot of things went wrong for the Bruins in this one, from the four turnovers to the blocked field goal to Bryce Love gashing the defense.

Washington State

Theo Lawson has Mike Leach’s thoughts on USC quarterback Sam Darnold, as the Washington State head honcho calls Darnold “mature” but doesn’t think he’s ready for the NFL yet (more a product of his age than anything to do with his natural ability).

Colorado

Ranking 11th in the Pac-12 in scoring and yardage, Colorado’s offense is looking for a breakthrough, writes Brian Howell.
