Pac-12 Networks to provide live coverage of 2017 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships on Friday, October 27

 

SAN FRANCISCO – Pac-12 Networks today announced it will provide live coverage of the 2017 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships hosted by the University of Oregon on Friday, Oct. 27.  The live broadcast will be the first ever for the championship event with the Women’s Championship Race leading off at 11 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. MT, followed by the Men’s Race at 12 p.m. PT  / 1 p.m. MT.  Action will take place this year at the Springfield Golf Club in Springfield, Ore., with both races airing live nationally on Pac-12 Network as well as across all six Pac-12 regional channels.  The events will also be available to stream live for authenticated subscribers via the Pac-12 Now app and Pac-12.com.  

 

Colorado will be looking to defend its Conference crowns as the Buffaloes swept both the men’s and women’s team titles at the 2016 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships. The Championships will also serve as a gauge for the defending national champion Oregon women's team, which captured its fourth NCAA Cross Country title in program history last November.   

 

The Pac-12 will be looking to add to its distinction as the winningest conference in NCAA Cross Country history this fall as current league members boast the most combined team national championships (28 – 16 men / 12 women) and individual titles (28 – 25 men / three women) of any league in the country.
