Washington football coach Chris Petersen is not happy with his team’s late kickoff times, saying it hurts national exposure for his program (Sports Illustrated). “No one wants to watch our game on the East Coast that late, and we all know it,” Petersen said. “And so it’s painful for our team, it’s painful for our administration and we know certainly the most important part is for our fans.”

California

Oregon State football coach Gary Andersen said his Beavers are showing improvement despite a string of blowout losses. It certainly hasn’t helped that the Beavs have played two ranked teams in a row and will play another at No. 14 USC on Saturday.

USC

USC wide receiver Tyler Vaughns was a bright spot for the Trojans in the loss to Washington State, catching six passes for 89 yards against the Cougs. Zach Helfand of the Los Angeles Times has more.
