Roundup: UCLA men's basketball players released on bail in China

Arash Markazi of ESPN reports that UCLA men’s basketball players were released on bail Wednesday morning in Hangzhou, China, after reportedly being arrested Tuesday. Steve Alford said that the student-athletes involved will not play against Georgia Tech.

Washington rose to No. 9 in the latest College Football Playoff Top 25, up three spots from last week’s initial ranking of 12. Certainly far from a lock, but it’s looking better for the Pac-12 and the College Football Playoff. USC jumped up six spots to No. 11, so if USC and U-Dub win out ‘til a Pac-12 Football Championship Game, the conference championship game could potentially feature two top-seven teams or something like that.
