Roundup: UCLA freshmen apologize, Bruins outlast Central Arkansas in OT

UCLA

Hectic day for UCLA men’s hoops, as freshmen Cody Riley, LiAngelo Ball and Jalen Hill apologized and were suspended indefinitely after being arrested on shoplifting charges in China. Later that day, UCLA survived Central Arkansas in overtime thanks to another freshman in Kris Wilkes going off for 20 points.

Stanford

Stanford women’s volleyball won the Pac-12 title by sweeping USC Wednesday night, improving to 23-3 overall and 16-1 in the Pac-12. It’s the Cardinal’s first conference title since 2014 and 20th overall (17th in the Pac-12).

Washington

Washington linebacker Azeem Victor has been suspended by the team after he was arrested on Sunday morning. Kyle Bonagura has the details.

California

The Pac-12 released the 2018 football schedule Thursday morning, so here’s a look at Cal’s 2018 football schedule – North Carolina, at BYU and Idaho State are the non-conference foes, and the regular season ends with home games against Stanford and Colorado.
