Hectic day for UCLA men’s hoops, as freshmen Cody Riley, LiAngelo Ball and Jalen Hill apologized and were suspended indefinitely after being arrested on shoplifting charges in China. Later that day, UCLA survived Central Arkansas in overtime thanks to another freshman in Kris Wilkes going off for 20 points.

Stanford women’s volleyball won the Pac-12 title by sweeping USC Wednesday night, improving to 23-3 overall and 16-1 in the Pac-12. It’s the Cardinal’s first conference title since 2014 and 20^th overall (17^th in the Pac-12).
