ASU's Holder named Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week

Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week (11/20/17) - Tra Holder, Sr., G, ARIZONA STATE

 Tra Holder collects the first Pac-12 Player of the Week award of his career and the first for an Arizona State player since March 2015 (Shaquielle McKissic, 3/9/15).

The 6-1 senior guard from Los Angeles averaged 23.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists and 2.0 steals in ASU's victories over San Diego State (90-68), Northern Arizona (97-62) and UC Irvine (99-78).

 Holder capped his award-winning week with a career-high 35 points on 13-15 shooting (6-7 3FG) in Sunday's win over the Anteaters. For the week, Holder shot 55 percent from the field (23-42), 57 percent behind the arc (12-21) and 81 percent at the foul line (13-16).

 Holder has helped guide ASU to its first 4-0 start since 2013-14, which was the most recent season the Sun Devils reached the NCAA Tournament. ASU has also scored 90-or-more points in each of its four contests, the program's longest such streak since 1974-75.
