Arizona State's Holder repeats as Pac-12 Player of the Week

Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week (11/27/17) - Tra Holder, Sr., G, ARIZONA STATE

• Tra Holder earns Pac-12 Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week. It marks the first repeat selections for the ASU program since Feb. 2014, and Holder is the first Sun Devil to repeat the award since James Harden in 2008 (11/24 & 12/1).

• Holder was named Most Valuable Player in leading ASU to the title of the Las Vegas Invitational, the Sun Devils' first regular-season tournament championship since the 1994 Maui Invitational.

• The 6-1 senior guard from Los Angeles averaged 25.5 points on 53 percent shooting (16-30) and 55 percent beyond the arc (6-11), 4.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.5 steals in ASU's victories over Kansas State (92-90) and #15 Xavier (102-86). He is one of four Division I players with a 40-point performance so far this season, erupting for a career-high 40 points (14-22 FG, 5-8 3FG, 7-8 FT) to lead the Sun Devils to the upset of the Musketeers in the championship game. 

• He is the only player in the country averaging at least 23 points, six rebounds, five assists and two steals according to College Basketball Reference. ASU is 6-0 for the first time since 2013-14 and ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 at #20 for the first time since the end of the 2008-09 season.
