UCLA

Legendary sports broadcaster Dick Enberg died Thursday at the age of 82 in his home in La Jolla, Calif. Among his many high-profile jobs, Engberg was a broadcaster for UCLA men’s basketball, calling eight of the program's 11 national championships.

Washington

Adding to the best recruiting class in the Pac-12, four-star cornerback Kyler Gordon announced he will play for Washington on Thursday night (The Seattle Times). The top-ranked recruit in the state of Washington chose the Dawgs over the Golden Domers of Notre Dame.

Oregon

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports the NCAA has alleged that Oregon’s track and field, football and men’s and women’s basketball programs committed rules violations. Oregon is contesting the charges that men’s basketball coach Dana Altman and women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves “failed to properly monitor their programs or promote an atmosphere of compliance.”

Arizona State

Doug Haller reports that Arizona State will name Danny Gonzales its new defensive coordinator. Gonzales is currently the defensive coordinator at San Diego State, a team that held both Stanford and Arizona State to under 21 points this year.

Arizona

ESPN's Myron Medcalf details the rollercoaster of a season for Arizona men’s basketball so far, from the preseason expectations, to the FBI investigation, to the three losses in the Bahamas before racking up seven straight wins to end non-conference play (nice dub against UConn on Thursday night).

Utah

Check out this Newsweek feature on Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma, who became just the second rookie in Lake Show history to go for at least 38 points, seven rebounds and four assists. The first? Magic Johnson.

Stanford

Stanford women’s basketball lost to Tennessee 83-71 Thursday night despite 27 points from Brittany McPhee, who made her return to action after missing the previous nine games with a foot injury (Pac-12 Networks game recap).

California

Cal men’s basketball lost to Portland State 106-81 Thursday night. I know, I know, losing by 25 to a Big Sky team isn’t ideal, but Portland State is pretty good.

Colorado

Brian Howell looks at the role junior college transfers have played for Colorado football under head coach Mike MacIntyre.

Oregon State

Jonathan Smith talks about the Beavers’ 11 signees from the early signing period in this link provided to us by The Oregonian/OregonLive.

Washington State

Our very own Yogi Roth previews the Holiday Bowl featuring Washington State and Michigan State in this Pac-12.com video.

USC

The Trojans' men's basketball team is getting a taste of Hawaii during the holiday season. USC opens action in the Diamond Head Classic on Friday against Akron and will face either Princeton or Middle Tennessee on Saturday.
