The Pac-12 women’s basketball season is well underway and the league is proving once again to be one of the best in the country. Currently, five Pac-12 teams are ranked among the top 25 in the nation by the Associated Press, including OREGON at a program-record No. 7 and UCLA at No. 13.

The 2018 tournament will be full of star power, featuring four student-athletes on national player of the year watch lists: Jordin Canada and Monique Billings of UCLA, Kristine Anigwe of CALIFORNIA and NCAA career triple-double record holder Sabrina Ionescu of OREGON. Anigwe and Ionescu were the last two national freshmen of the year.

Last season, a record seven Pac-12 teams earned NCAA Tournament bids with all seven advancing to the second round, staking its claim as one of the top women’s basketball conferences in the country. At least one Conference team has advanced to the nation semifinal in nine of the last 10 years. STANFORD advanced to the NCAA Women’s Final Four. Nine of the 15 All-Pac-12 honorees from a season ago returned this season and the 2018 Pac-12 Tournament promises to be one of the best yet.

Seattle has proven a great supporter of women’s basketball and the Pac-12 will host this tournament at KeyArena for the six year in a row in 2018. The Pac-12 partners with Force 10 Sports Management, LLC, the Seattle Sports Commission, and Seattle Center to deliver a dynamic atmosphere for fans and student-athletes at its premier women’s sporting event.

KeyArena, home to the two-time WNBA Champion Seattle Storm, has entertained more than 18 million guests as Seattle’s best venue for sports, concerts, and family entertainment. Its unique design provides fans an intimate entertainment experience with spectacular sightlines and acoustics. Fans also have a convenient link between downtown Seattle and Seattle Center with the Seattle Center Monorail.
