Roundup: Arizona men's basketball back in the top 10

Arizona

Arizona men’s basketball is back in the top 10 of the AP Top 25 poll, sitting at No. 9 in the newest poll released Monday morning (Arizona Daily Star). Arizona State is No. 25, while USC is still unranked (come on, now; how ‘bout a lil’ more love for the Trojans?).

Oregon

She did it again – Sabrina Ionescu posted her ninth career triple-double in leading No. 7 Oregon to a 84-68 win over Utah on Sunday in Salt Lake City, going for 19 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds (Associated Press).

Stanford

Tiger Woods was “very pleased” with his return to the PGA Tour, carding a 3-under at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego over the weekend. Steve DiMeglio of USA TODAY Sports has the story.

Arizona State

From last week – Arizona State unveiled plans for a $160 million renovation of Wells Fargo Arena and creation of a new hockey venue (The Arizona Republic). About $80 million going to each project.

California

Cal women’s water polo All-American Dora Antal tied the school’s all-time scoring record in the Golden Bears’ 19-6 win over Fresno State. She now has 216 goals to match Emily Csikos.
