Softball returns to Pac-12 Networks with the Kajikawa Classic from Feb. 8-11

SAN FRANCISCO – Softball season returns to Pac-12 Networks next weekend with live coverage of the 2018 Kajikawa Classic from Feb. 8-11 at Alberta B. Farrington Softball Stadium, home of the Arizona State Sun Devils.  As previously announced, the Networks will televise 17 games over four days of the tournament, including three on Thursday, Feb. 8, five on both Friday, Feb. 9 and Saturday, Feb. 10 and four on Sunday, Feb, 11.  Pac-12 Networks today announced its talent lineup for coverage of the Kajikawa Classic as well as its roster for coverage of Pac-12 softball all season long. 
 
On the call for the Kajikawa Classic coverage will be play-by-play announcer Anne Marie Anderson and analyst Amanda Freed as well as play-by-play announcer Ann Schatz and analyst Barb Jordan. Specific talent assignments for each game can be found in the schedule below.
 
In addition to the talent duos covering the Kajikawa Classic, Pac-12 Networks coverage of softball all season along will also feature calls from returning play-by-play announcers Krista Blunk, J.B. Long, Kate Scott, Daron Sutton and Elise Woodward, as well as returning analysts Tammy Blackburn, Kenzie Fowler, Teri Goldberg and Danielle Lawrie
 
One of the season’s marquee tournaments for softball, the Kajikawa Classic will feature top programs from the Pac-12 Conference, Southeastern Conference, Big Ten Conference and Big 12 Conference.  The annual tournament will include coverage of six Pac-12 squads, with Arizona State (five), Oregon (three), Oregon State (three), Arizona (two), Stanford (two) and Utah (two). 
 
In total, the tournament will feature 76 games, 58 of those taking place across four fields at Tempe Sports Complex and 18 at Farrington Stadium, with 17 televised by Pac-12 Networks.  Live coverage of the 17 games covered will air across Pac-12 Networks seven channels, with six airing nationally on Pac-12 Network and all 17 on their respective Pac-12 Networks regional channels. In addition, 15 of the 17 televised games will also air live locally on Pac-12 Arizona.
