National Girls & Women in Sports Day allows us a moment to reflect on how far women have progressed in the fight for equality. Title IX not only acted as a turning point for women in sports, but stands as a symbol of parity and growth for women in society. Pac-12 women's basketball coaches Tara VanDerveer, JR Payne and Cori Close discuss how we can empower young women in sports.
