USC

USC won the Pac-12 recruiting championship again, and the Trojans bolstered their class on National Signing Day by inking Warren G’s son, five-star cornerback Olaijah Griffin. Old colleague Bryan Fischer dives into more detail in the preceding link.

UCLA

Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times recaps Chip Kelly’s first recruiting class at UCLA. As Bolch points out, Kelly was able to haul in the fourth-best recruiting haul in the Pac-12 and 16th nationally by 247Sports.com.

Utah

One of Utah’s big gets on National Signing Day was four-star receiver Solomon Enis, who is the son of former Penn State running back Curtis Enis. Lynn Worthy has more on Enis and the Utes’ 2018 class.

California

Here’s a little bit of Cal football coach Justin Wilcox’s conversation with Pac-12 Networks, talking about defensive back signee Chigozie Anusiem.

Oregon State

Washington

The NBA trade deadline is Thursday, and former Husky Isaiah Thomas was traded from Cleveland to the Los Angeles Lakers alongside Channing Frye and its first-round pick in 2018 for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance (Yahoo Sports).

Arizona

Softball season is here, so read this Graham Hays piece on espnW about Arizona softball trying to get back to the Women’s College World Series, hoping the addition of former Wildcat ace and new pitching coach Taryne Mowatt will help get them over hump.

Oregon

Colorado

I’m sure Buffs fans would have liked a bigger margin of victory, but Colorado men’s basketball held off Cal 68-64, and you can check out the highlights in the link. Hey, a win is a win.

Arizona State

The Pac-12 men’s basketball slate for the week really gets underway in earnest Thursday, and Steve Mims of The Register-Guard writes that Arizona State should be safe for the NCAA Tournament despite being in seventh in the Pac-12 with a 5-6 record. Beating Xavier and Kansas in the non-conference slate and being the last undefeated team in the country will bolster the ole’ resume.

Stanford

Tom FitzGerald features Stanford men’s basketball freshman KZ Okpala, who has been a revelation as of late. After missing 12 games due to an academic issue stemming from an AP calculus class in high school, Okpala is averaging 9.9 points and 3.2 rebounds as he and the Card get ready for a Thursday night tilt at Utah.

Washington State

Washington State offensive line coach Clay McGuire has been named the running backs coach at Texas Tech, his alma mater, it was announced Wednesday. Theo Lawson has the deets.
