Roundup: De'Anthony Melton withdraws from USC

USC

Before the Trojans' impressive road win at Colorado, USC men’s basketball sophomore guard De’Anthony Melton announced that he will withdraw from USC and focus on prepping for the pro game. Melton hasn’t played in a game for the Trojans this year due to an eligibility issue linked to the FBI investigation that involved former Trojan assistant Tony Bland. Oregon

The final weekend of the Pac-12 women’s basketball regular season weekend slate gets underway Thursday night, and Ryan Thorburn of The Register-Guard writes that Oregon is in the driver’s seat for the Pac-12 title. The Ducks lead the Cardinal by one game with games at Arizona State and Arizona remaining (Stanford holds the tiebreaker).

California

Oregon State

Oregon State women’s basketball center Marie Gulich headlines the NCAA.com Starting Five after averaging 24.5 points 10.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game in wins over the LA schools last weekend.

Arizona State
