Arizona State

Following a hard-fought loss to Colorado, Arizona State may have to sweat out Selection Sunday (alongside Oklahoma, which suffered a first-round Big 12 Tournament loss to Oklahoma State), writes Steve Megargee of The Associated Press. Quite the fall from being undefeated and No. 3 in the country entering Pac-12 play.

Colorado

Colorado men's basketball head coach Tad Boyle discussed his injury suffered rushing onto the court during a skirmish in the waning moments of Colorado's win over Arizona State.

California

Despite Darius McNeill setting the program's freshman record for made 3-pointers, Cal men's basketball ended its season with a 76-58 loss to Stanford in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament. The Golden Bears wrap up an ugly 2017-18 campaign at 8-24.

Stanford

Former Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey helped save a man’s life over the weekend when he called 911 and rushed to help a 72-year-old man who fell about 20 feet onto a rock (ESPN).

Washington State

Theo Lawson gives us his analysis from Washington State's hearbreaking overtime loss to Oregon Wednesday night in Las Vegas. Leading pretty much the whole way, the Cougars did everything besides win the game.

Utah

Utah men’s basketball coach Larry Krystkowiak was named Pac-12 Coach of the Year by the media, it was announced by The Associated Press on Tuesday. Larry K led the Utes to a No. 3 seed in the Pac-12 Tournament a year after losing four of their top six scorers.

Arizona

Pac-12 Player of the Year Deandre Ayton made Sports Illustrated’s regional March Madness cover, and the Arizona Daily Star compiles a list of other Wildcats to grace the cover of SI. Ayton is the first Wildcat to be on an SI cover since Nick Foles in February after he led the Philadelphia Eagles to a Super Bowl title.

Oregon State

Danny Moran tells us that Oregon State men’s basketball has “unfinished business” before heading into a pivotal offseason, and that unfinished business will continue into at least Thursday after the Beavers outlasted Washington in an overtime thriller. Up next: second-seeded USC.

USC

USC baseball faces a trio of top-15 opponents in the Dodger Stadium Classic this weekend. The Trojans host No. 8 TCU Friday and No. 15 Vanderbilt on Saturday, before clashing with No. 11 UCLA on Sunday at Dodger Stadium.

Oregon

While the men duke it out in Vegas, Oregon women’s basketball can tinker and tweak with things in the practice gym to get ready for the NCAA Tournament as a likely No. 2 seed. Ryan Thorburn of The Register-Guard writes about the “meteoric rise” of Oregon women’s basketball in this link.

Washington

Washington softball’s Julia DePonte was named Pac-12 Player of the Week, while Husky newbie Gabbie Plain was named Freshman of the Week. The top-ranked and undefeated (23-0!) Dawgs next hit the diamond Friday against New Mexico State in Las Vegas.

UCLA

Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times gives us a UCLA spring football preview with this article, as Chip Kelly figures to turn up the tempo in Westwood.
