Broadmoor Golf Club in Seattle, Washington will be the site of the 2018 Pac-12 Women’s Golf Championships on April 22-24, 2018, and will feature some of the top collegiate golf teams and individuals in the country.

ARIZONA, the No. 13 ranked team in the country, enters the Pac-12 Championships on the heels of a top-3 finish at the Silverado Showdown. In their five spring events, the Wildcats have finished no worse than fourth, including victories at the Hawkeye El Tigre Invitational and the Ping ASU Invitational. The Wildcats are paced by junior Haley Moore (71.92 avg) and freshman YuSang Hou (72.67 avg) and an experienced group of 6 returners.

ARIZONA STATE has put together a strong campaign as the Sun Devils are ranked No. 14 in the nation, and have seven top-5 finishes, as they head into the Pac-12 Championship. Sophomore Olivia Mehaffey (71.71 avg), ranked No. 13 individually, paces the reigning NCAA champions with seven top-10 finishes. She was named to the 2018 Palmer Cup international team, as well as No. 5 on the ANNIKA watch list. Head coach Missy Farr-Kaye was recently awarded the Alumni Achievement award at ASU, having won a national championship as a player, assistant coach, and head coach.

CALIFORNIA women’s golf team closed out the regular season on a high note, finishing second at the Silverado Showdown. The Golden Bears will lean on sophomore Jiyoon Jang (72.13 avg), who is ranked No. 27 in the country, as they move into post season play. Jang enters the Pac-12 Championships on the heels of a 7-under top-3 finish in a very competitive field at the Silverado Showdown.

COLORADO heads into the championship ranked No. 20 in the nation. The Buffs ended their regular season by posting three consecutive top-10 finishes. The Buffs are lead by an experienced group of returnees including sophomore Robyn Choi  (72.79 avg) and lone senior Brittany Fan (73.48 avg), who posted a final round of 68 at the Silverado Showdown.

OREGON will be paced by junior Kathleen Scalvo (73.16 avg) and freshman Alexis Phadungmartvorakul (74.16 avg). The Ducks will look to carry their regular season experiences into the Pac-12 Championships.

OREGON STATE wrapped up its regular season with a fifth-place finish at the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational, giving it three consecutive top-5 finishes. In a season of firsts, the Beavers posted their two best three-round scores in program history this season with a 14-under at the Westbrook Spring Invitational and a 6-under at the Ron Moore Invitational. At the Ron Moore Invitational, junior Olivia Benzin shot the lowest single-round score in Oregon State history with a 6-under-66. Freshman Ellie Slama (72.57 avg) is on pace to break the Oregon State single-season scoring average record of 73.62.

STANFORD has strung together top-3 finishes in each of its four competitions this spring and enters the post season ranked as the No. 6 team in the country. Sophomores Andrea Lee (71.06 avg) and Albane Valenzuela (72.94 avg) have paced the Cardinal all season. The two sophomores will look to help Stanford build off of last year’s third-place finish at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships.

UCLA, the defending Pac-12 Champions, have won five tournaments this season along with two second-place showings and a third-place finish. Top-ranked junior Lilia Vu (69.95 avg) has won four tournaments this year entering the Pac-12 Championships, and is now the school’s all-time leader in wins with eight. Freshman Patty Tavatanakit (70.83 avg) heads into post season play with two victories during her first year on campus, including a tie for first place at the Silverado Showdown positing an 8-under 208.

USC, boasts one of the youngest rosters in the conference with four freshmen and one sophomore in its lineup. The young Trojans lineup will look to the leadership of Allisen Corpuz (73.45), the lone sophomore on the roster. The  No. 4 Trojans head into the Pac-12 Championships clicking on all cylinders having posted three consecutive wins, their longest such streak since 2014. This win streak has also been aided by freshman Jennifer Chang (72.77 avg), who has posted three top-3 finishes including a tie for first at the Silverado Showdown.

WASHINGTON, this year’s championship host, is ranked No. 17 according to Golfweek leading up to the Pac-12 Championships. Junior Wenyung Keh (72.85 avg) heads into the championship on the heels of a strong, fourth place finish at the Lady Buckeye Invitational, her second top-5 finish of the season.

WASHINGTON STATE is led by senior Alivia Brown (72.92 avg) who has posted four top-10 finishes this season. As one of only two seniors on the Cougar roster, Washington State will lean on her, as well as a group of underclassmen to produce in this Pac-12 Championships.
