“Today was a great day for us, everybody played well. Everybody contributed, so that gives us confidence going into tomorrow with six guys playing well,” commented USC head coach Chris Zambri.

On the 36 holes of competition on the first day, Suh said, “It was long, starting from the beginning, we knew it was going to be long day. Before the round started, I committed myself to really focus in on a couple of things, on my swing, understanding how the golf course was playing. We knew what we were coming into.”

Swegle, who posted three birdies in the final four holes of the first round, then added seven birdies with just one bogey in the second round.

“I caught my stride at the end of the first round, and then was in the groove for the second round and carried that momentum,“ said Swegle.

ARIZONA’s George Cunningham (67-67) and Stanford’s Franklin Huang (65-69) were tied for third at 8-under 134 as a total of 29 players were under par through two rounds.
