The Commission on College Basketball released its report and recommendations Wednesday morning. Chief among the recommendations are eliminating the one-and-done rule, allowing undrafted players to return to school and banning cheating coaches for life. Here is Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott’s statement on said report.

Washington

Matisse Thybulle will return to Washington men’s basketball for his senior season, Thybulle told The Seattle Times earlier in the week. Thybulle was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year as a junior last season.

Arizona State

Arizona State and Mississippi State have scheduled a home-and-home football series for 2024 (Tempe) and 2025 (Starkville), ASU AD Ray Anderson announced Tuesday.

Oregon

Jason Gold of Diehards notes that Oregon football had the best spring game attendance in the Pac-12 by far, with 27,317 fans coming out to see the Ducks at Autzen Stadium (linked here by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution).

UCLA

UCLA women’s golf won the Pac-12 title Tuesday in Seattle, with freshman Patty Tavatanakit taking home medalist honors by defeating teammate Lilia Vu in a playoff. With women’s gymnastics winning the national title, women’s golf winning Pac-12s, softball jumping to No. 1 in the country and men’s volleyball earning an NCAA Tournament bid, hath been quite the last few days for UCLA Athletics.

USC

USC men’s golf has a five-stroke lead heading into the final day of the Pac-12 Championships, with junior Justin Suh taking a six-stroke lead into the final 18 holes. The Trojans are looking for their first conference title since 2011.

Arizona

Rob Gronkowski will play for the New England Patriots in 2018, he announced Tuesday (Yahoo Sports). The former Arizona tight end had been non-committal about a return to the NFL up until this point.

Oregon State

Steven Kwan had a five-hit game to lead Oregon State baseball to a 9-2 win over Portland Tuesday night in Hillsboro (The Oregonian/OregonLive). Kwan went 5 for 6 with a lead-off homer, two singles and two triples. That’ll help the ole’ slugging percentage (he’s now hitting .319 on the season).

California

Cal baseball lost to Sacramento State 4-1 Tuesday night in Berkeley, getting held to two hits in the process. Up next for the Golden Bears is a series at Stanford that starts Thursday night.

Utah

Lynn Worthy looks at Utah defensive end Kylie Fitts’ NFL potential. His agent, former NFL offensive lineman Jeremy Newberry, thinks Fitts will go somewhere between the third and fifth rounds, while DraftAnalyst.com has him going in the sixth round, Worthy notes.

Washington State

Washington State’s Parker McFadden was named Pac-12 Baseball Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Monday. McFadden threw the first five innings of the Cougs’ combined no-hitter Sunday against Santa Clara (Wazzu won 5-0).

Stanford

Tom FitzGerald looks at how international players could push Stanford men’s tennis to an NCAA title. The Cardinal is the No. 4 team in the country and will be the No. 2 seed at the Pac-12 Championships.

Colorado

Brian Howell checks in with Colorado women’s basketball guard Kennedy Leonard, who is hoping to reach the NCAA Tournament in her senior season in 2018-19.
