Latest edition of “Our Stories” includes in-studio discussion with Cal’s Robert Paylor

SAN FRANCISCO – On Thursday, May 3, the newest episode of “Our Stories” will debut on Pac-12 Network at 9 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. MT.  The hour-long program will include in-depth discussions around several stories from around the Pac-12 this season.  As part of the discussion, the Pac-12 Networks team who covered the stories will discuss the elements that went into each piece, taking viewers into the seat of the journalists with thoughts and reflections on the student-athletes, coaches and personalities who drove the storylines.

Included in this latest edition will be a special discussion with Robert Paylor, the former California rugby who is seeking to defy the odds in his recovery from an injury suffered last season that left him paralyzed from the chest down.  Paylor joins Ashley Adamson and Kate Scott in-studio at Pac-12 Networks’ headquarters to discuss his story and return to campus this coming Fall.

Hosted by Kate Scott, the episode will also look back at several other stories covered by Pac-12 Networks.  Stories featured include USC women’s basketball player Kristen Simon and her past struggles with depression and anxiety, Arizona State wrestling stars and brothers Zahid and Anthony Valencia and moments from the “Power 5 Trailblazer Challenge” hosted at USC this year, featuring the only Power 5 conference teams with a female head coach for both men’s and women’s track & field programs.
