PLAYER OF THE WEEK: DJ Sanders, SR, IF, Oregon (Columbus, Miss.)

• Played a key role in the Ducks’ three-game road sweep of then-No. 4 Washington move Oregon into a first-place tie with UCLA in the Pac-12.
• Grand slam in the ninth inning on Friday helped the Ducks win the series opener, 7-2.
• Hit a two-run homer on Sunday in the series finale as the Ducks won, 5-3.
• Drove in seven total runs in the series and stole three bases
• Tied with Gwen Svekis for the team lead with 13 home runs this year and also second with 39 RBIs.
• First-career honor for Sanders and 72nd all-time for Oregon.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Megan Kleist, JR, RHP, Oregon (Appleton, Wis.)

• Recorded two big road wins at then-No. 4 Washington to help the Ducks sweep the three-game series and move into a first-place tie with UCLA in the Pac-12 standings.
• Tossed a complete game in the 7-2 win on Friday with just two runs allowed plus 14 strikeouts and just one walk.
• Tossed six innings in the 5-3 win on Sunday, allowing three runs with five strikeouts and two walks.
• Overall on the weekend, posted a 2.33 ERA on the road against one of the top hitting teams in the nation with 19 strikeouts in 15 innings and three walks.
• 17-5 on the season with a 0.93 ERA, 179 strikeouts, 15 walks in 142.2 innings pitched.
• Second honor this season for Kleist and fourth-career honor. It is also the 73rd all-time for Oregon.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Aaliyah Jordan, FR, OF, UCLA (Chula Vista, Calif.)

• Posted hits in all four of the Bruins’ victories, going 5-for-10 (.500) with two RBI, two walks and three runs scored.
• Helped the top-ranked Bruins in wins against then-No. 21 Oklahoma State (7-2 and 7-0) and South Dakota (4-1).
• 3-for-6 in the two games against then-No. 21 Oklahoma State, including two hits and two runs in the first game versus the Cowgirls on Friday.
• Fifth freshman honor for Jordan this season.
