NCAA Men's Golf Championships: Arizona State, Pac-12 wrap up season

Arizona State fell short of advancing to the match-play quarterfinals at the 2018 NCAA Men's Golf Championships at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Oklahoma, meaning the 2017-18 Pac-12 men's golf season has come to a close. 

Arizona State

The Sun Devils had their worst round of the week, shooting 14-over 302 to finish their championship at 30 over. Arizona State, which was eight shots off the cut line entering Monday, finished in a tie for 13th place and 13 shots out of the top eight. No ASU golfer shot better than the pair of 2-over 74s posted by Chun An Yu and Koichiro Ishika, while An Yu finished the 72 holes as the lowest Sun Devil in Stillwater at 2 over. Finishing in a tie for 21st, An Yu was at 5 under after two rounds before going 77-74 over his final 36 holes.

Stanford

Stanford's Isaiah Salinda wrapped up his stay in Stillwater at even par after a 1-over 73 for his final round that landed him in a tie for 15th. The Cardinal junior finished off his championship run on a positive note by birdieing the par-5 18th after posting a double-bogey on 17.

UCLA

UCLA's Cole Madey posted a 3-over 75 for the day and wrapped up his postseason at 3 over. Wrapping up stroke play in a tie for 29th, the junior from Oregon posted birdies on 11 and 17 in his final round.

Oregon

Oregon's Norman Xiong shot an even-par 72 on Monday, finishing stroke play in a tie for 11th at 1 under.

The Duck sophomore birdied two of his first three holes before running into some trouble but birdied his final hole as a collegiate golfer to get back to even par for the day.
