Following the 8-6 loss to North Carolina on Saturday, Ken Goe of The Oregonian/OregonLive sets the scene for Oregon State’s elimination game against Washington (11 a.m. PT, ESPN).

Washington

Oregon

Former Oregon linebacker Fotu Leitao was killed in a car accident on Friday, Chip Patterson of CBS Sports reports (KEZI also with the story). Oregon AD Rob Mullens and football coach Mario Cristobal issued a joint statement on his passing:

California

Former Cal men’s golfer Byeong Hun An finished 67th at the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club on Sunday, carding a 26-over 306. An got off to a great start, shooting 71 (1-over) on Thursday before coming back down to Earth.

UCLA

UCLA thrower Alyssa Wilson qualified for Team USA in the hammer, shot put and discus at last weekend’s USATF Junior Championships, becoming the first Bruin to qualify for Team USA in three throwing events.

Arizona

Former Wildcat freshman phenom Deandre Ayton has reportedly signed a shoe deal with Puma. He joins Duke's Marvin Bagley III as the first incoming NBA draftees signed by the shoe company since Vince Carter in 1998.

Washington State

USC
